Fogged up headlight?

Before you say its water moisture, its not.

There is a dark/blue film coating the inside of my OS headlight unit.

Who knows where it came from, but I need to clean it out as it is effecting the headlight beam.

How do you get it all apart?

Can I clean it from the back perhaps??

Sounds like it's a deposit that might have burned off a bulb at sometime ?

Guys here have put their rear lights through a couple of dishwasher cycles to remove mould, but I'm not sure if any have done it with their headlamps and in any event it might be difficult to get a totally mark free finish if you did that.

The other option is to break the unit apart as others have done prior to spraying the inside of the headlamp.

I'm sure there is a how to for that, or if not, someone will be along with info to assist before long I'm sure.
