225's to 235's What problems if any?

I need 2 new tyres, i have 18" XP alloys and am looking to go up to 235's as they are cheaper compared to 225's.
Are there any issues with clearance and also will they go on the rims OK? (snowing outside and i am too busy at work to have a look)

I have ran 235/40/18's and 225/40/18's...

My choice is 235's to be honest. But it's down to personal preference. T

he tyres handel the same, ride the same and look the same. Both fit fine etc. There is a theory that the 235/40/18's are closer the the rolling cercumferance for the standard vectra so speedo error is less.

I have to say however that 225's are usualy the cheaper!

Im presently running Falking 914's from Camskill in the 235 size. Handeling, noise etc are all great!

ive 19's and im running 245/35x19 and dont see any difference at all mate
