    Default DTUK Green ECO3 box - Vectra 3.0 184PS

    Hi all,
I have just fitted my DTUK Green ECO3 box to my 2006 Vectra 3.0 CDTi 184PS.

I bought this second hand and have fitted it as is without adjusting any settings.

I can see that there are letters and numbers inside the box which can be adjusted with a flat head screwdriver. It is currently set to number 7 and I noticed a difference immediately after fitting.

Can anyone tell me what all the settings mean and if there is a recommended setting for performance and economy i.e. a compromise.

    Thanks in advance.

Were the fuel pumps on later models not ok with a tuning box?

The fuel pumps on Y30DT 177PS and Z30DT 184PS are supposedly identical.

There seems a lot of people who repeat what they have read but have no personal experience.

I would like to know what the different settings are for, there are letters and numbers? I understand that if I turn it up from 7 to 8 it should be more powerful, but what about letters e.g. A, B etc.

    Thanks in advance.

well take it from me mate i am in the no anyone will vouch yes the pumps are the same do you no what a tuning bix does ? i will tell ya mate its tells the rail theres lowerpressure so the ecu sees not enuf afr so it adds more fuel stressing the fuel pump and if its set to 8 thats double the pressure it actually needs to work you would be better with a decat straight exhaust airox mod and panel filter bud

Thanks mate, just had a good read through all of the posts, so mine is set to 7 and I maximum power is the last letter on the dial. I will adjust it at the weekend and report back.
