Default Clutch Issues - Biting Low / struggling to get gears

    Hi

I have a 2004 Vectra 2.0 DTI and have started to notice a couple of problems with its clutch

    • Clutch biting low (not far from floor)
    • Won't go in to gears / struggles to go in to gear

I have topped the brake/clutch fluid up and have also bled the clutch in case there is air in there, but the issue is still there

Does anyone have any other suggestions that I can try before I go out and buy something I don't need ?
    ie. new clutch & dmf

Have you bled the system correctly?
id be looking for leaks at the master and slave cylinder, then it sounds like the self adjusting clutch has failed.

clutch is VERY light down to biting point then it feels fine, but just worried as its biting so low and struggling for gears on occasion

the struggling only lasts for a few miles, then starts to get better

will double check that its bled properly, and the master and slave cylinders for leaks

hoping its not the clutch needing replacing though
