well it can be... is yours remapped? are you running on stock injectors?
yh remaped on std injectors had it dyno on saturday
the vectra despite it having the same engine as the saab was sold with a smaller fuel pump, good ole vauxhall going cheap again.. However you should be fine with it up to 245bhp. if you want to go over that then you need to fit the 255lph walbro pump.
what colour are your injectors, if they are the light blue type they are only 261cc, ideally you want to upgrade the to the light green Siemens deka 381cc injectors or the light grey denso 381cc injectors.. if you already have the bigger injectors then speak to the tuners..
you have not mentioned in this thread what your dyno figures are and who the tuner who did the remap is..
i got the remap done about 5 months ago from elite remap the dyno read 220 everything std and i thought it was time for more power so ordered new turbo injectors basicly everything for stage 4 went down to rs tunning for them to fit it all that goes in tuesday but while i was there we did a dyno power run and it ran 198.8 thats when i knew it was running lean
blimey a bit of punctuation would make that easier to read lol ... if your about to have new injectors and a turbo fitted on Tuesday (if i understood that bit correctly) then you will of course need a remap so your engine/ecu knows what to do with them... if thats happening then there is no need to worry about the current problem as it will be gone soon.
akaik the preference is to have it running slightly rich as the top end as you do not want fuels starvation while you are over 5k etc..
sorry for punctuation lol yh there doing a custom map so all should be good thx
it will be a very different animal when you get it back, just make sure you keep up a good service regime and it will last... oil changes oil changes.... dirty oil is the biggest killer of turbos, look after it and you will have years of fun..
You know with the new found power how good is the flywheel on these cars.
not an issue and the clutch will be fine all the way up to around 380bhp
trashing flywheels is the preserve of the oil burner crowd, as well as manifolds, egrs, etc etc etc.. saving money on fuel bils to pay for all those expensive repairs
