Default coolant hose replaced with plastic pipe from bnq??

im using a pipe from bnq designed for central heating to basically seal a cut rubber hose, couldn't find any rubber hoses anywhere so used this instead, it seems good so far

would this be ok long term?

Don't see any reason why it would not work provided your connections are secure.
