I keep getting the P0170-11 fuel trim code. I've cleaned the MAF with electrical contact cleaner and cleaned the throttle body.
The engine is a 2003 1.8XE petrol.
Anyone got any ideas?

Id suggest a new MAF, or at least try one from another car and see if that helps.
i have seen P0170-11 fuel trim code.a few times on the site and as das said it refers to the maf
i would change it to a new maf because sometimes cleaning it does not make any difference
i have a few threads on this if you would like them but they have all had a new maf and it has
solved there problem
pm me if you would like them there on the 1.8

Before shelling out to buy a maf.
get some data readings done.
I have Op com, what should the readings be?
I'd suggest to check for vacuum leaks between the MAF and engine block. You can check the short and long term fuel trim values with OPCOM on idle, and post them here.
Many thanks for all your help. Fitted a second hand MAF, all seems ok, fingers crossed.
the wife's car had that as well this week.. i went through the usual stuff and got it to settle better with a TB clean out but it was still there. unplugged the MAF and the engine coughed and spluttered a bit so it was functioning still but not 100% obviously.. ordered a new Siemens VDO MAF from vauxhall parts world for about £73 and sorted it. I plugged in my laptop cleared down the codes and restored the idle to factory settings and had no issues since..
