    Default Vectra 1.9cdti 150bhp 0ver Fuelling.

    Hi Guys,

I have an intermittent problem with what I believe to be over fuelling. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The car starts and idles fine but after a few minutes of idling it goes lumpy and starts chugging, also the instant fuel consumption goes from 0.1g/h to 0.3g/h. All the injector timings start to rise and fall as well.
There are no error codes, spanner light or eml on. There is a small amount of whitey blue smoke from the exhaust when the problem starts.
It's had new inlet manifold, egr, boost sensor cleaned.
Any idea's? Dont want to end up wrecking the engine.

It does it after a few minutes from cold and when it's warm. It will also do it when you pull up at traffic lights etc.

Do you have a DPF? Could be doing a regen but not getting a chance to fully complete.

Yes it has a DPF but shows 0% regen when it does play up. Also when it starts to regen I get 0.8g/h to 0.9g/h on the instant consumption. I'm sure as well that it would not start to regen when the engines cold.
