Meriva wont start

Guys,
A friends 1.6 Meriva 05 reg wont start and the following codes are displayed.

Total number of fault codes: 5
P1615 - Wrong Vehicle ID from Body Control Module
(00) - Present
P1616 - Wrong Vehicle ID from Instrument Control Module
(00) - Present
U2107 - CAN-Bus no Communication with Body Control Module
(00) - Present
P1482 - Fan Relay 2 Signal Low / Open Circuit
(04) - Present
P1483 - Fan Relay 3 Signal Low / Open Circuit
(04) - Present

Could this be a module problem or is it more likely to be a wiring connection. He did say he had noticed the rev counter dropping to zero sometimes before the problem.

are all the dash lights as normal,can the fuel pump be heard priming on turning the key and does it turn over normally but just not firing?

Err, dont know so I will have to find out. Assuming yes and no what would be your advice.

could be an immobiliser fault,but more likely the crank sensor.

There is no fault code relating to crank sensor but will get him to try his spare key if he has one.

wonder if these suffer the bad connection on the instrument cluster as corsa C do , try tapping the dash above clocks.

looking at the fault codes they are similar to what appear on a corsa when it has a bad connection , worth a go

looks like somebody hit the 'reset' option when using a certain piece of software..
