I'm sat here bored and typed my reg into the search and lo and behold the previous owner was / is a member on here . It made interesting reading of all his old threads bit like a history of previous mods

Both mine have been on here previously... The 2.2 was bought off eBay Dec 08, I was a member on here before I got one and didn't even realise they where on here, Tallica if anyone remembers him from Enfield/London...

The CDTI, my mate bought of Dan_BlackSri a couple of year ago, and then I got it off my mate earlier last year

It's mad the bloke was local to me and we talked for ages about vauxhalls etc and he never mentioned the forum. I did find one useful bit of info from his posts that he's changed the front wheel bearing so I now know that it's the rear that's thrown it's hand in its driven me nuts as its one of them noises that's seems to come from the front then the back

Mine was why won't my key work in the boot lock?... He'd swapped boot lid for the an edition 100 but must have not bothered to swap the button over lol.

Before you change the wheel bearing, swap tyres front to back. Quite often on the vec its the tyres not the bearing

Same with my GSI it was a member on here before me lol

Ive found out that it had/has a couple of bolts snapped on the manifold don't know if he got them out though as he didn't say on his thread
