Default getting hids activated in the UEC

i have been reading alot about people doing this to save needing the canbus cancelors with aftermarket hids, what happens if you went back to standard bulbs? would it all still work ok or would it need turning back off again?

What they said fella, I'm not sure if you would get a bulb failure warning on the dash though if you had a bulb fail on dipped beam.

You would not get a bulb failure if one of the bulbs went plus the Halogen bulbs that are refitted would gradually weaken in intensity and possible fail early.
Halogens need the pulsed supply to give them long life. Enabling HID's turns the pulse off.

They are easy enough to enable/disable with a well known brand of software

You would get a bulb failure warning as I had one about a month ago
