Vibrating pedal and no brakes :-/

Was driving along today and coming up to a small painted roundabout I went to brake as there was another car wanting to turn right. All I got from my brake pedal was vibration and the car wouldn't slow down. Any ideas? Vauxhall are having it back tomorrow. But just seeing what the concenses of ideas was as I know they will try make it out to be something small gone wrong. :-/ going to give the car back to the finance company if they can't resolve it quickly.
Any input is welcomed considering I now have a 2 hour wait for the AA To come collect me.

Abs gone mental? Try pulling the fuse for it.

My guess he was going about 60mph slammed brakes abs kicked , then got brake fade as 285mm not up to the job .... But this is my guess only ....

The road was pretty clear and was a busy road during the day normally so doubt it was ice. AA think it could be abs or leaves but pretty certain it wasn't leaves.

I spent more time looking at the pavement to make sure it was clear as an escape route than figuring out how I missed the other car. Think they stopped with just enough room for me to squeeze through.

Take it out on to a clear road and test brakes,

Have tested and they seem fine again :-/ not sure what's going on. Could it be the signs of an abs unit packing in?

The vibration would make me think abs fault. Maybe a sensor?

I hope so. Got a little one on the way and the last thing I want is a dangerous car I don't know if I can stop :-/
