First mod on the Vecki donePainted the headlights blaaaaaaaack!
I used a satin black semi matte finish
Not easy to get the sealant to give up but wasn't all that hard neither. Still needs to be sealed better but ill do that tomorrow.
After Getting the headlight out of the car and taking all the bulbs out i threw it in to the oven at 90 degrees celcius for about 8 minutes untill it was nice and tasty

Worst part was to get the headlights apart.. That sealant is pretty tough. After about 15 minutes of prying at it with a flat head screwdriver i finaly got it apart:

Took the parts i wanted to paint and was left with this:

The front plastic part of the headlight needed some reconditioning so i gave it some love with Meguiar's Ultimate Compond and some 1500 grit sand paper

The plastic did not need any scuffing or prep work at all. just cleaned it with a degreaser and off i went with first coat:

then second

and let it dry for about 2 hours.
then assembled it back together, put it in the oven again for about 8 minutes, sealed it as tight as i could with the old sealant and i was done after fitting it back on the car. :
