hids now ordered, put it off as long as i could but after another dreadful country road drive i had last night, i couldnt put it off any longer, i need to be able to see whats ahead lol
ordered a 6k 35watt canbus set, but bought a 4.3k set of spare bulbs if i find them too blue. i want a standard look so thinking the 4.3k ones are the best ones to fit

    I got these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3303793357...84.m1439.l2649

Enabled HIDs in the UEC and all works perfectly, no need for Canbus friendly versions and only £27.99. Much more reilable this way

I don't think 6k look standard. I first went for 6k and they look too blue, I'll see if I can find pics.... I now run 4.3k - much better and the look fine with standard sides and main too. 6k show a huge difference in colour between main and dip.

The top pic shows my XP2 with 4.3k fitted, the lower pic shows my other SRI with the originally installed 6k. Not brilliantly demonstrated by the pic, but the yellow of the sides is too different compared with the 6k dip.

All horses for courses, but if you want a factory look, then 4.3k is the actual colour temp of factory Xenons.

I fitted 6000k 35w first and they were too blue, looked aftermarket, then bought 6000k 50w and they look spot on

Happy with my 6000k 35 kit.

the lights are crisp white, and the only time you notice a hint of blue is on certain street signs.
