Faulty door mirror

The mirror on my drivers door wont move up/down with the switch. It'll go left/right but not up down. Should I be thinking faulty motor or switch? Or something else?

Also, the deicer function doesn't work on that mirror. It does on the passenger side. I think there's a small heating element built into the lens? So I should buy a new lens.

Any helpful suggestions gratefully received

Remove and clean the switch,them remove your mirror and the two spade connectors from the back of the mirror,clean the connexions then replace,I had the problem with the heating element not working did this and its all sorted and working again

If your left mirror works then i'd say it's the wiring/ motor.
