autodim,rain,auto lights question

got my dimming rear mirror in working its brill,but now i want to fit rain sensor and auto lights...got all the bits loom sensor and light switch...will i need tech2 it in? or can i use other software? or is it just plug play? cheers

you'll tech-2 to program the BCM for the rain sensor as other software doesn't seem to touch it, the REC also needs programming for both but can be done without tech-2.

I'm sure you can use opcom.. I used it to disable the rain sensor to allow normal wiper operation.

ok ill plumb it all in get the laptop out and have a go,then a trip to main for tech2

Maybe preface is different, or maybe you disabled it in the REC I don't know, but I do know mine will not access the BCM thats for sure.
