I couldn't say for definate. I would check with Vx.

I'm sure a good exhaust fitter would be able to make it fit. Please check first though mate.

The hangers do look the same , its just the actual pipe that attaches to the main exhaust .

Dont suppose your coming anywhere near Cardiff soon ?

you maybe cant that there is actually a joint in that length of pipe. The exhaust people alex used just cut it off at the point where it splits on a car with dual exhausts, as he was having his converted.

On mine, and i can see on alex's, the backbox pipe only comes out for about 30cm before the join. The rest is old pipe you wont use.

Thats what I thought to be honest . What I think your trying to say is that the actual pipe that goes to the main exhaust pipe is only a few inches long .........if that ! So it may fit with a bit of juggling.

Maybe you can measure the overall diameter of the pipe that goes into the main exhaust , then ill measure mine to see if its the same .

even better... why not ring vauxhall and see if the 1.8ls and 1.9cdti back boxes are the same part number lol

or have a lokk under your car for the part number and see if its the same as the one shown on alexs close up pic?
