No remove the light unit then you can cut in and solder to it etc... Got one in bits in my boot if need a pic, will post tomo, or there's a thread I did ages ago showing how I did it, but good luck finding it with the new search function...

Whats the possibility of adding two 5-10w bulbs for footwell lights onto the currant circuit without damaging bcm? Id prefer halogen bulbs to led, seem to bright for me. Thanks

Brown/White : interior lamp control from BCM (in effect ground but supplies the slow fade effect by varying the voltage)

So as Lee said you want the brown and brown/white if you want them to fade with the interior light.

If i wanna add leds to the wing mirrors do i need the brown/white (for fade) or the blue/red?
will leds fade? Or just go off?

as stated it is negative dimed so u will need it from the lights them selfs i just stuck the wire into the bulb fittings, and if u want them to go off after a while when the bulbs go out u will need the positive from there as well, as i found out lol but its leds so should be a problem if i leave the light on

the white plastic circles, they twist out.
