    Default Kindle Fire Problem

Having problems with our Kindle Fire. It now says "silk is not responding" and will never allow us onto the web. It is connected to the Internet however, apps such as Facebook and eBay work fine, even the store us fine.

Did a quick google says restart the kindle, turn the router on and off. Done both and it's not made any difference.

Does anybody have any ideas? I have told her she should've bought an iPad!

Bin it and get an Asus Transformer TF300 or TF700... does the book reader thing and a massive amount more... just avoid the TF201. Don't waste your time with an iPad.

Thanks Niell I'll give it a go. The Silk problem seems to be relatively common.

Really impressed with the Kindle Fire, nice bit if kit. So wont be swapping it for an Asus. Was so impressed with the Kindle, bought one for my Mum for Christmas.
I have an iPad 4th gen - its brilliant, I wouldn't be without it now. Though as said, they are similar - the iPad just feels slicker.
