Clean throttle. Body

What's best way to clean throttle. Body on vectra c 1.8. I'm getting. A few fault codes 1525 1550 1526 0100 I'm hoping these might clear when it's cleaned. I went today and bought some card/choke cleaner. Do I have to remove. It from engine email 1st?? Cheers

I dont know the vectra C 1.8 engine but I have cleaned the throttle bodies on Vecta B's and Corsa's as follows. Remove air cleaner or ducts, Turn on ignition but dont start engine, Get someone to sit in car with their foot on the throttle pedal so that the throttle valve opens, Spray in Carb cleaner and brush around body with a tooth brush. Replace Air cleaner and start engine.

You need to take it off the car and do it properly.
There is a 1mm bore that will be blocked.
Take off Air intake pipe, disconnect wiring plug, disconnect coolant hoses x 2, remove torx bolts x 4 and lift off. be careful not to damage gasket or renew.
Clean with carb cleaner.
Refitting is reversal of removal

I did mine on my 2.2, just took the air pipe off, then the bolts holding the throttle body down, carb cleaner and cleared the pipe everyone mentions, mine wasnt very dirty and didnt change anything on the car, 77k down
