    Default Quick help needed reading fault codes!

    Iv tried the old pedal press test and after switching the ignition off and back on the light starts to flash with what i beleive is the beginning of the first code? But its flashing very slowly and the dash is clicking on each flash? Also on each flash the fuel pump in kicking in? Surely thats not right? And the red ignition light is flashing with it?

    Any help am i doing it wrong?

    Tried all ways, i know how to do it because i did it on my astra once, but where the spanner light should be flashing its all of the dash lights flicking on and off as if the ignition sort of tripping?
