    Default Brake upgrade help please

    I have the 285 brakes on my 1.8 sri and want the 314 kit so ive been looking at the carriers, calipers, discs and pads is this all ill need also is it easy enough to swap? many thanks

    Very easy, unbolt complete old caliper, remove disc, trim small corner of backing plate off (easy to identify by trial fitting new caliper), refit new disc and caliper, bleed the system.

    make sure you have the anti rattle springs too, pic in this thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...t=#post1919771 I was also advised to get new washers for the banjo bolts, although as they looked like aluminium you could maybe rehaet them and soften them.

    where would i get these springs and are they pricey and are they absoulutly got to be bought

    I got mine from the dealers using the part number from 06sri, they were approx £12. The calipers are designed to have the spring, but I did drive mine for a week without them with no noise issues
