    Default crankshaft sensor location

    Hi...please help!

    I have been having starting problems for AGES and have tried the glow plugs etc. I have had it scanned today and it came up with crankshaft position sensor A fault...

    Can anyone please tell me where to find the sendor, the car is a 2007 vectra 1.9cdti 120 8v

    Would I be better getting at it from above or below? Thanks for your help. Is there any way to clean it or just get a new one?

    probably easier to change it from underneath. mine cost about £20

    Any tips on getting it out? I had a look earlier and it looks pretty crowded, what's holding it on... Is it a nut or a screw?

    if i remember right it is held on by one torx screw.
