Window Tinting

Just got my car back today from Auto Tint on the Reading rd in Winnersh.

What an excellent job they have done.
Dropped the car off at 8am and it was all done by 13:30. A1 job.

Now i have the 1.9 CDTI (150) elite estate. so a lot of windows to cover. They did the whole car for £260 inc. and that includes the fron windows as well.

so if anyone lives in the area and is thinking of having them done, give them a try. www.autotint.co.uk

Thats a good price. I was quoted £250 not including the fronts. Were they done in a clean room? or a workshop? What tint did they put on the front, 20%? saw this on the autotint web site -

These regulations changed on the 1st January 2004 to make it clear that no tinted film can be applied to the driver and front passengers’ windows. This position is one that autotint, and indeed the Industry’s association, the Glass & Glazing Federation, are now endorsing fully.

No probs guys, i'll take some pics tomorrow post them up.

they did a 20% tint on the front windows. had to sign a disclaimer to say that i accept responsibility for the fronts.

it just had to be done, didn't look right otherwise.

i think that looks spot on - i seriously doubt you will get pulled for the front tint, it looks very subtle.

i like the plate aswell!

the tints go like this
50% complete rear section
35% rear doors
20% front doors.

I am very happy with the results, i'll wash it over the weekend and take some better picks.

Had this Vectra a week now. had the Cectra exclusive estate before this one.

i have things like the read load cover and flex organiser etc in there as well.

I've had the plate for years, it used to live on my BMW 7 series. paid £250 for it from the DVLA about 7 years ago.
