Hi just wondering can the ariel base for vectra c be bought on its own

Yes it can, think a normal basic non sat nav/dab one is about £30.

I'm needing one too but my car has sat nav and going by previous threads you cannot buy new base for this aerial

Going by previous threads, there is a "cheap" option for the non-satnav bases by using a part from a VW spares catalogue. That is a "proven" fix guys. Just do a search on here for the threads.
Unfortunately, apart from suggestions as to cutting your own replacement from appropriate material, there doesn't seem to be such an easy solution for the satnav rubber bases........it's a scrappy, or a new part .... around £100+ (less your 25% Masterfit Club discount ) ...
A seach on here will bring up the threads, all in the last 3 months.

Aerial base - yes, but they can be quite expensive.

Aerial base to roof seal - not on it's own apprently, hence the mention of those from other vehicles with a similar sized aerial base or use of an 'appropriately cut-to-size thickness of rubber'.
