Astra & Vectra Steering Wheels?

Are they interchangable like the air bags are? The preface one on the CDTI has seen better days, can I strip the wheel then fit the 3 button parts and airbag etc?

dont if this will help , but i changed ( well dean aka plasma did ) the elite steering wheel for the astra sri one ,all fitted apart from the lower trim bit as the astra one is a bit smaller .

Yeah I have the lower astra trim in my 2.2 and it needed modding to fit, so everything should just bolt on then except the lower spoke? Hope so ha...

no other parts where needed , i bought a new one from ebay ( Romania ) and dean changed the plate over where the airbag go,s , was easy to do , ( maybe a pm to dean just to be sure )

think u had to change the lower baseplate as well, think the connections are different.

The H wheel doesn't have the air ah base plate or any other part, so can I just transfer my plate and the rest of the parts?
