Vectra c 1.8 vvt exclusiv

Hey guys can anyone give me some info on vectra 1.8vvt exclusiv 56 plate I'm new to vauxhall and vectra and wondered if someone could tell me if good or bad vehicle

1.8 is a great engine, not the most toruqie you will find but is as reliable as it gets. Slight rattle on start up the only thing to look for but easily rectified. 40+ MPG on the motorway, low to mid 30's around town.

Plenty of 1.8 VVT owners on here, so if you need any advise, just shout up.

Love mine, enough power for me, good fuel consumption, plenty of toys in mine.

i've got the 1.8 exclusive. the spec is quite basic mate but i've had mine two years now and the only thing i've had to replace is the thermostat.

As said above, the F17 gearbox can fail but dont let this put you off, its not that common

Cracking cars and engine's my friend,had mine for just a year and would not part with it,only thing i would suggest is that you use VX genuine parts if you can and use dexos 2 oil when you change your oil and filters during your servicing.I do mine twice a year and the engine runs very smoothly.------Dave

Great engine, thermostat when on mine earlier in the year which I replaced myself thanks to the how 2's on here. Needed a new fuel filter 2 weeks ago. Apart from that its being great for me. Have it 4 years now and 81k on the clock. Putting out 149bhp too.
