Rear fog light and right hand side indicators

Put car in for m.o.t and these were two of the things it failed on. Rear foglight not working at all tried changing bulb and checked fuses and still nothing. Also when I indicate right the indicator flashes really fast, all indicators are working but just going fast. Any help with either of these would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Earth fault on the right hand cluster?

Quickest way to prove if its earth fault is back probe a paper clip. Into earth and then connect a good earth see of fault improves
