    Default Tyre droneing

Probably sound stupid but does Tyre drone sound different on different road surfaces the reason I ask is never had a car suffer from it but they seems to be alot of talk about it on here due to the rear upper arm bushes so to confirm weather it does or not will help me with diagnosis of a rear bearing which I think is on its way out. I've changed the arms done 4 wheel alignment checked all pressures so before I spend any money I could do with a bit more info/knowledge from the kind people on here lol

I do have uneven wear onthe rears but the noise isn't there all the time and don't change from surface to surface? So I'm stumped and it's annoying now

a knackered bearing would drone all the time surely.

If the noise is changable on different surfaces, its the tyres. probably worn on the inside edge where you cant see it

How long have the rear tyres been on the rear of the car? (I assume they were fitted new to the rear and were not swapped)
What is the tyre specification? (make, type, size, speed, and load rating)
When was the rear camber last checked for alignment?
