Default One dipped beam dimmer than the other...

I bought some osram nightbreakers for the dipped beam and fitted them a couple of weeks ago. However Ive noticed that one of them is way brighter than the other, enough so that people think Ive got a headlight bulb out.

So, is this a dodgy bulb or is this a problem with the car do you think? Anyone experienced similar?

Bulbs I would say, try your old bulbs and see if the headlights appear to be the same brightness.

also just double check the bulb is fitted in properly, if its slightly out it wont be as bright

I had my bulbs changed at Halfords and my nearside dipped beam is alot dimmer than the offside. Had Halfords extreme brilliance bulbs fitted. Id be interested to see what th eoutcome of this is!

I too would go with one bulb not sitting flat in the mounting. It's quite fiddly getting the bulbs in, and there are also more than one design of clip over the years (mine's had a new passenger side headlight unit at some point, and has a different type of clip to the driver's side - and it's easier to get the bulb in correctly on the newer one).
