Front Passenger Seat Belt Jammed

Anyone any idea what the problem could be and what I can do . I have removed the panel and cant see anything obvious. If I need to replace the belt it looks like I will need a special tool to remove the bolt holding the the reel on.

No you dont need a special tool bud. Open the front and back doors, on the outside of the B Pillar you will see a black blanking plug near the bottom. Take that out and you will see a long piece of plastic, if you have a deep socket leave it in, if you dont pull it out with a pair of pliers. Cant remember if its a 15 or a 17mm socket. Just watch what you are doing if the nut drops off the end of the socket it will fall into the inner sill area.

cheers for reply. Got it sorted, gave it a another good tug n pull and it realeased. All ready fot MOT tomorrow now.
