    Cool Finally fitted HIDS!

Well, as per the title, I got fed up with the rubbish light from the Angel Eyes headlights, so the 50w 5K HIDS were delivered last weekend, but was busy doing stuff at my Mum's (still! ) and didn't fancy whipping the bumper off in the snow - plus this weekend my Mum had managed to clear one side of her garage for the first time in weeks, so I stuck most of the car in there this afternoon!

My friend Keith who is over from Michigan and helping at my Mum's house (I'm all DIY'd out but still have stuff to do!) gave me a hand

    Here are the obligatory pics!

    Before

    Before

Look, I have tools for the car!

    Gratuitous bumper off shot!

My Mum thought it would be funny to get pics of me and Keith!

    One ballast attached

Strangely the o/s headlight didn't have the same plastic mouldings as the n/s - unfortunately I forgot to get a pic of how we mounted the ballast on the o/s

Had to put one of the Halos on their own!

    After - much better!

Now I might have to get a set for the fog lights can I wait until my birthday in August though!lol

As many others have said I was very impressed with the difference on the drive home (it's only 3 miles from Mum's I think mostly with street lights!) but looking forward to the improved performance!

Was shocked that apart from having to mount the ballasts in different places on each headlight, everything went smoothly, which must be a first for my car - I'm sure @Ian-Highlander would agree!

    All comments welcome as always!

    cheers

    Dave

Dave, I'm amazed you hadn't already got these on your motor fella, but they are the kind of thing you wish you had dealt with years ago when you've got them. Good job done there from the looks of things, and great Angel Eyes too
