What goes around comes around

The other morning about 3am I was awoken by a knock at my front door
Before I could get out of bed the doorbell went which woke up my other half
Who said “ who the hell is that at this hour ” ?
Well I got out of bed and pulled on some tracky bottoms and went down stairs
to investigate,
When I got down stairs I opened the door and there was a guy standing
in the pouring rain he said “ give us a push mate “?
I replied “ f**K off do you know what time it is “
And with that slammed the door shut and stomped up the stairs back to bed.
As I walked into the bedroom my other half said “well who was it” ?
I told her about the guy asking for a push and what my reply was and to my
astonishment she said “well that’s not very nice don’t you remember that time
when you got bogged down on the beach when we were in Devon and the tide
was coming in a bit quicker than we expected and the team of rugby players
Pushed Your car off the beach”
I replied “well what do you want me to do then” ?
Her reply was “well what goes around comes around”
Well feeling a little uncomfortable I said “ ok you win I will go and see if I
can find him and help him”
So I went back down stairs and went out the front door by now the rain was
a torrent. Well I looked down the road and then up the road with no sign of
the guy any where. Now opposite my house is a small green with a kiddies
park in the middle and a road the other side.
I thought he must be over there on that road ,
By now I was wet trough to the skin and absolutely drenched but remembering
the words of my other half “what goes around comes around” I thought well
I will cut thought the park and see if I can find him on the road the other side.
Well I set off across the green and as I got half way through the kiddies park I
saw him sitting there on a swing………
