winter plans?

what are peoples plans for the cars over the winter? are you like me and need 5 forms of identification, reasons why the car needs XXX, accompianed by written evidence of these reasons, and a statement on how 'we' will benefit from XXX, even to buy a set of silver light bulbs?

Despite getting 'clearance for funds release' from the joint account being equal to robbing the bank of england, im hoping to fit some Sri springs, a tuning box, a front spoiler and colour code the plastic skirts. Oh and lots of shiny stuff under the bonnet. Then when it gets warmer again, i'll get rid of all the swirls on the paint. And if i work some extra hours, i may start pricing up 19's

2. Chrome effect Door Handles and Mirrors
3. Lexmaul Front Bumper
4. Repair scuffed alloy wheel
5. LED conversions in dash
6. More power (hopefully)

Just a few things to keep me occupied. Oh and there is the wife's new Frontera to bling as well.

Erm.... Winter Plans?

Well....

1) Try to remeber that I don't have a 4x4 anymore and that the Vec won't go up a hill thats covered in snow!
2) Re-wax the car before the snow/salt arrives

...and thats about it..... you two must have too much money to be able to do all those mods around Xmas time!!!!

I've still to get my sound/nav system fitted, can't find a competent person to trust it to.

Sri front bumper, front spoiler will be going on soon

along with side skirts and rear skirt being colour coded.

expecting a set of wolfrace 19's anyday now.

and finally a full suspension kit to drop the car.

cant believe how much space a bumper takes up when its not on a car. its almost the size of my bed !!!

well just got ipod mini and kenwood adapter
so that will keep me busy for a bit.
and then maybe a front splitter or even a new bumper
will have to see what santa brings me

Well my stuff has started!!!! Zafira is in having bothe Recaro seat base's re-trimmed in black leather, it has leather from the factory, but I managed to rip the seat by letting Charlotte sit in there and me not doing her shoe buckle up!!!!!!

So to ensure a good match both bases being done, also the drivers seat has a few liccle crease's, so this will make them look like new!!!

The biggest thing will be the Land Rover, it needs the clutch replaceing and the paintwork finishing off.

well mine will be parked on the drive doin nothing and getting jet washed off every other weekend to get rid of the salts if it snows otherwise thats it, ps. it does need its 20,000mile service so i suppose i'll have to get that done

Stay indoors, i'm useless at driving in snow. Although last year when we had bad snow I was driving a R*ver - what more can I say!

hopefully new wheels ,new leather retrim ,front spoiler , Irmscher engine upgrade , new sound system ,maybe get the front end re painted ..!!!
