Quite expensive from what I know. I'm going to look into the refurb idea as that may be a better option.
This is what I'm thinking of getting

My O/S front was seizing up again last night after a few weeks of being free'ed up, thought the thing was going to go on fire. Was thinking of getting this kit, a bit more expensive but comes with a new piston as well, at least it will be better that a reconditioned one as they use the old piston when rebuilding. Also need a heater resistor, it decided to give up the ghost last night too.
have done loads of vectra C's with sticking brakes lately , take the caliper off ( leave hose connected ) push the rubbers out that the sliders go into , then get a round file in the hole & file the corrosion out of the hole .
clean the rubbers up , put some rubber grease on them & refit , then put the brakes back together & jobs a goodun .
problem is caused by the aluminium caliper corroding inside the hole , the corrosion swells & ends up squeezing the rubber , this then grips the slider & stops it moving freely.
Just finished stripping mine down completely, took the piston out cleaned out everything with a touch of grease on the seal, bled brake line and all good again. If it fails again I'll just get the refurbish kit but I took my time this time and wasn't raining so didn't rush the job. Hopefully I'll not have anymore problems.
it happened to passenger rear and the piston was pushed back but it only lasted a few months and then seized on for good and that was a pain and then even not long after passing its m o t the front passenger one went as well, so i just bit the bullet and got a new caliper and discs on the front so now just waiting for drivers side rear to start giving me gyp and that will be the full set, but if my experiences are to go by get a new caliper they don,t cost that much and it will give you peace of mind
