    Default wax or sealant

as above, i have decided not to use the simoniz wax as i have never waxed a car and apparently it is difficult to use correctly. i am going to buy the poor boys world black hole but will it be better to use a sealant or the natty blue paste after the glaze ????

Wax is easy to use correctly, its when you dont use them correctly that you get problems, ie, applying to thick.
You should polish before you glaze then either wax or sealant will sit on top of the blackhole. HTH.

as in life everything is in the preperation a little time spent cleaning the paint surface properly will make the rest of the polishing a lot easier .
Buy yourself a good cleaner wax , zymol or mequiars do one both available from halfords this will remove the oxidation from the paint work you can then apply any number of polishes , glazes or waxes with ease .
Take your time doing a panel completely before moving on to the next one that way you can see the result that you have achieved and you can compare the panels with there neighbours .

Autoglym super resin polish, hi-def wax then extra gloss protection for me. All three!

It's a hard was to remove from the car need quite a lot elbow grease. The wax I use comes off really easy and goes on really easy just don't use much like they say little is more.

I prefer the lighter finnish that sealer gives, makes the flake pop more. I find wax makes the colour darker. A good sealer will last as well as a wax. Black light or Jet seal 109 get my vote. For wax I use 50/50. Good stuff. You can seal then wax if you like! gives a nice wet look, but like said, prep is the key
