    Default Ebay payments?

Sold some concert tickets on eBay the other day as we couldn't make it due to kids football.
Got paid the amount less PayPal fees which was about £3..it's that long since I sold anything, is this normal or should I be receiving the full amount and buyer pays fees? Cannot mind haha

    Cheers guys

Depends what they send it under eg gift, payment, etc.

Is it maybe that you have your eBay fees coming out off your PayPal?

Just checked, they sent it as payment. I think it's done correctly, just hadn't done it for sooo long.

    Cheers ;-)

ebay charge a final value fee of 10% plus your listing fees if any, and paypal charge around 3.4% + £0.20 for transactions upto £1500

Pees me of as paypal and ebay are the same company

Why do you think the big sellers call it FeeBay...............

Steven next time try Gumtree. Yes its go more Clowns than a big top but its pretty good, has no fee's and is a lot more local than Ebay.

Not complaining as it was only £2.50 odd, just couldn't mind how it worked. The fees are quite high when you add it all up. its the amount of pish you have to deal with from chancers, that's why I don't sell much on it!
Ouch Davie, that's way too much to be paying in fees!
Never used gum tree tbh guys..
