    Default No boost until 2400RPM - CDTi 150

    Evening everyone.

    I've got a boost problem and I'm a bit stumped by it. I replaced the turbo about 1200 miles ago and it was fine. Spooling up like normal at about 1700RPM. It seemed to get a little worse but I thought nothing of it until a couple of days ago when I went to accelerate like I normally would on the motorway in 6th gear. Nothing. Tiiiiiiny increase in speed but that was it. After a bit more driving around some A roads the turbo isn't really spooling up until 2400 or so RPM, then it goes like a rocket like normal. There's hardly any pull at all before that.

    I've replaced the vac pipes from the vac pump to the boost solenoid, and the one from the solenoid to the turbo. The boost sensor was cleaned about 3000 miles ago, and the EGR has been blanked off for about 10,000 miles.

    Run out of ideas now!

    whats ya pedal map set at with ya boost and limiters mate
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    It's running a pretty standard map just with EGR delete still. Just can't work out why it's gone from driving fine to driving like crap. Boost peaks at 25psi like it used to on the old turbo, just takes ****** ages to get there. Not had chance for it to be setup on the rollers yet. It'll be done this month when I get a break for a bit!

    Swirl bar is still on the manifold too.

    give yer boost pressure sensor a clean with some carb cleaner but dont scrub it , let it soak .

    Yeah. Its driven fine for about 1200 miles on the old map. It's only just started to do this which is why I'm stumped. If it was straight away after the swap I'd go straight to the map but its been fine for ages.

    Not at the minute no. Forgot to pick up my diagnostic bits. Got the cable but thats it. >.<

    I'll pull it off later today for a couple of hours. Fuel consumption has gone up too. Normally use half of a tank doing Wirral to Cornwall but it's gone up to nearly 3/4 of a tank this time.
