    Default SRI front shocks

    Needs some help please guys and girls. I need some new front shocks as mine are f#####. My question is are sri ones different to other vectras as i no sri are lowered 10-15mm is that the springs or the hole suspension unit ie shock and spring?

    Yes, the SRI uses "Sports Suspension" specification shocks and springs

    My answer would be to get Bilstein B4's all round and fit Eibach springs.

    The reason is that if your front shocks have gone then its likely that your rears have too unless they have been replaced. Also I would not refit VX springs if they are still the original springs that were on the car as considering there age its likely they have got weak over time. They have a tendancy to snap the older they get so if could mean you would have to take everything apart again a few months later.

    If you have the money go for B6's which give a fantastic sports ride (I have them fitted on mine )

    If u want to keep genuine go for genuine Sri shock absorbers facelift part no 93190505 and 93190506 and if u have acces to trade card they are 42.18£ ish each +vat from dealers ....
