    Default Brake kit for GSi

After over two weeks of waiting for dry weather this weekend Mother Nature granted a morning and half an afternoon of dry weather.

Checked the brakes and there is only a few mm left on the pads (the ware sensor is still attached, but I thought I would get more notice - than a few mm/no warning).

Anyway on the question – I remember someone mentioning a brake kit from vaux (which includes new discs), but I can’t find the thread.

Could anyone confirm what is in the kit and whether it is available for a 03 GSi (part number and how much it costs would also be useful). Defo need to change the discs this time round.

    Many TAs in advance

no,all early v6 models had the smaller discs, the gsi does not get bigger brakes over its brother models,2002 models had 302mm discs,i think the change occured sometime in 2003 to 314mm discs

Thanks for the quick response guys , I am going sort out the discs today.

I could not remember if the brake kit was the discs and the pads (thanks for the clarification & the part No. info Mark).

Thankfully she is fitted with the big brakes already.

I came across this site, http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/index.html.
Not sure if the prices are reasonable or not.
