    Default Boot Button vs Lock Button

    Are there interchangable? I know you can swap the complete units but can you just swap the button part minus the electrics... I know the lock is a bigger unit but are they the same...

    Bought a blank one which said complete, but there's no electrics on this! 3 times in a row feel like I've been done over on eBay!

    I swapped the CDTI and 2.2's over this summer as wanted to colour code it, and the lock is useless anyway as my boot lid is off a genuine edition 100 so not my key... Will I need to buy a second button, full unit

    You going to Vx for one? I always fancied de-locking the drivers door, but this brings obvious problems, a rear boot lock would solve that.
