Best "Postal Service" for Parcels to Romania ?

Hi guys.

I am going to send a large cardboard box to Romania this week.

The weight is approximately 3kg and the size is about 18 inches cube.

Before giving this to Royal Mail for a very expensive all expense paid cruise, has anyone got any experience and useful links to good alternative international carriers that are likely to cost far less ?

Might be worth trying something like DHL, Fedex or UPS. Nearly all large parcels i have received from abroad have been these carriers. If its valuable, it might actually pay to use a well known company in case of problems etc. I think i would

10 kilos to china with FedEx was £66 3day service so Romania shouldn't be that expensive ..... Parcel force could be expensive as anything over 2 kilos is parcel force

RoyalMail are not responsible for it and will not be held accountable for it once it is in the hands of another mail/parcel delivery service (i.e. as far as they are concerned thats as soon as its on the ship/plane/mule/pigeon), trust me on this, been there been dicked for it. Its hard enough to hold them accountbale for the items they lose and damage with the UK let alone abroad.. I will never use them ever again for international parcels, which is a shame as I would prefer to support the RM over the smaller private mail delivery services.

Try one of the others that offers and 'end to end' service as mentioned elsewhere in this thread.
