Sigbum Wheels and springs

Hi am after some advice if poss, own a Signum 2.0T Design and am wanting to replace wheels and lower the car slightly. Problem is what size alloys and how much to drop the car. I don't want to feel every bump so am possibly leaning towards 18" rather than 19", if so can anyone advise how far to drop the car to get the look but without loosing too much ride quality? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i dropped my siggy 75mm all around with 19s and was spot on for me usally 35mn on eibache springs and 18/19s is what alot on here go for

I dropped mine 35mm all round on bilstein b6's and eibach pro's
ran them on 18's and the ride was firm under 35mph on uneven roads ... Over that the ride was phenomenal and the bumps were smoothed out fantastically
still looked a little small in the arches but the alloys were also black and silver which made them look smaller than they actually were
