    Default lowering springs

after i get my dtm boot spoiler fitted i plan on getting some lowering springs for the car but unsure what ones to go for, i was thinking about the 888 eibach springs but lmf have eibach springs for £135 and im wondering what the difference between the 2 is, what other springs are good and fairly cheap as im a tight wad lol

im getting springs fitted in the next couple of months, i've been looking at quite a few different makes

one comment made by a supplier was that the Eibach springs, although good quality, made the ride quite hard and recommended spax springs instead which are cheaper at £115 inc delivery

it would be good to get an opinion from anyone on here who's fitted spax springs, cause im not sure about them.

looking at prices for the Eibach springs LMF seem the cheapest.

Got my Eibachs from LMF last week and have had them fitted. Very very impressed. Hasn't dropped the car by quite as much as I was expecting or wanting but nonetheless it DOES look lower and the ride has remained compliant, I've also fitted 35 section tyres, and the fact my wife hasn't picked up on any of the changes has to say something, cost me £110 to fit......The handling has been transformed, no where near as much rolling, or diving.....

Haven't got any experience of Spax so can't comment on them...

When I was looking in to the purchase there seemed no obvious alternative in terms of quality, the Irmscher springs are re-branded Eibachs....

I'm giving them a solid 8.5/10 (they lose 1.5 because I wanted my lofty Elite spec to be alot more sporting and mean)

how much do you reckon you've lowered it by then?

im not looking for much tbh, I have an sri which is lowered 20mm from standard (i think) and im looking for another 15mm front and 10mm back, which the irmscher/eibach springs will give me

Well thats spot on, seems to be what I got although over the following 100miles or so she settled a bit lower, the springs were advertised to give upto 30mm, I reckon I've had 20mm drop....
The other weird thing with mine is the front axle weight fo 3litre diesel doesn't align with the brochure..ie the sticker on the door frame says she's\lighter than the book.... so LMF had to do some research to make sure i got the right set AND that they were safe.

Good price, good service, pleaseing result...just off home in her now...
