Default Those Marines Flying In On The Wings Of Apaches

Just watched the video of them on the news. I don't see what the fuss is all about. If they're strapped on securley & were willing volunteers I can think of worse vehilces to go into battle on
I'd certainly choose one as my mode of transport

It's a standard procedure for the Apache dude. Bl##dy hero's in my book. It's nothing that any of their mates wouldn't do for them in the same situation.

Yep it is standard ops for the Apache but it still takes a heavy ransoms worth of courage & determination from those doing it. Watched a doco on the Disco channel last year with this very scenario being a part of training. Superb effort buy those involved especially under fire. Brave men.

Saw the pictures yesterday evening on the news... truly amazing!!

A real pity they were not able to rescue their colleague alive.

    Deserve medals..

Would you like to strapped so close to A live rocket pod or Heavy Machine gun during firing? Also they're taking incomming fire, While the Pilot and gunner have a nice bullet proof shell hte guys on the lines are sitting targets.

They're mad but get my respect!

Plus they would have to be strapped down somewhat tight as the engine intakes are right over their shoulders sucking in huge amounts of air but hopefully not them.
