at the moment ive just tried out rimwax , on the wheels , only put 1 coat on and did over 1200 miles in it before cleaning them again . most off the dirt / brake dust came off , with just a small bit left , before that id just get the wheels clean and put on a couple off coats off any polish followed by some wax or a sealant . and this will make them so much easier to keep clean.,

FK1000. Its a high temp wax/sealant so wont drop off with the heat of your wheels. Can also be used on bodywork, comes in a big tin so will last ages. HTH.

As others have said collinite is as good as your likely to find , the only thing against it is that it can be a pain if you have multi spoke wheels .
an alternative which i use with good effect is Planet Polish,s Wheel seal and shine this is a high temp wheel sealent that has the benefit of being easy on easy off just apply allow to haze and buff off
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it
