Well just changed my egr and put a partial blanking plate in, tightened my bonnet release and now quite chuffed, thanks to the how 2's on here and the help of vxpenfold and plasma being on the end of the phone I've managed to change my suspension from coilovers to bilstein b4's and apex springs, drive shaft change, wheel bearing change and gear box oil change and rear brake pads changed all this month chuffed to say the least all I've got left now is front arb bushes and drop links and then that's me done on mechanical bits for now though I may remove the boost sensor when the weather is warmer and clean that (hands are frozen just from doing egr valve lol)

So big thanks to vectra-c.com and all the users who are at hand when we need you

Spent a couple of hours fitting a Bluetooth kit this morning with help from some of the how2's. I tested it all, all works perfectly.

I came to turn the ignition on aaaaaand... nothing, just clicking and flashing lights on the dash. I thought I'd wired something wrong! Quick scout on here, found it was probably the fact I'd had the radio on for 2 hrs with doors opening and closing and the -8c last night had killed the battery. Sure enough, a quick check with the multimeter and it was showing 11.6v, just not enough! Luckily, I had a spare in the shed, that was showing 12.2v so I swapped them, success, engine started

Again, a quick check on here I found I probably needed to sort my electric windows out as the battery had been off

Gotta love the people and the information on here!!

What do you have to do with the windows then? Can't say I've tested mine since I had my battery off the other week

Long press takes them all the way down or up. I'm also lucky that my remote can do it too. It's just doesn't work after the battery has been off.
