Default Well the manifold has me beat for this evening?

Everything going to plan regarding dismantling untill i reached the point where the pump has to come out, popped the 2 fixing bolts in the sprocket, slowly started realeasing pump nuts whilst giving it some persuasion, the got about 5mm out of the casing then stopped and wont budge any furthur, my feeling is the woodruff key has twisted and is now wedged against the housing stopping the pump from being removed. Whats my next plan of action guys. Next chance i will have to get on it will be sat which i think i will just remove cambelt. The 2 fixing bolts were the correct thread but still seemed a very small amount of play in the sprocket but not enough to move a tooth, but i think that slight twist is also just gripping the pump shaft also.

    Any help appreciated

Well its finally off, didnt realise it had a tapered shaft also with a woodruff key, theres me giving gentle taps with a length of timber and rubber mallet, all it needed was a decent tap with a normal hammer and she was free. Ended up with belt off but there you go. Certainly not a job for the faint hearted.
