Default Other than rear upper arms and arbs what else knocks?

    Hi guys,

ok, so replaced my rear upper arms, car still knocking at rear.. Defo rear! Does it more going slow? Over uneven roads, a muffled knock!

My ARB bushes look like new, and feel tight, drop links are light and unpreished! I'm struggling to believe its these and don't want to waste more time replacing etc?

car drives lovely and tight, no uneven tyre wear, or wandering, car done 107k miles!

ive have the car jacked up for an hour, really can't tel which of the many bushes down there to change next?

    any thoughts please

    Mike

Might sound really stupid and i'm sorry if it's patronising but is the spare wheel and jack kit secured in the boot?

Spare wheel tight... I'm thinking lower arm myself? Hoping not shock absorbers as they IDS ones! Don't look to be leaking, and to behonest don't knock coming of speed bumps...

so lower arms can knock too??

Just had a run out.. No knocking atall at speed, silent on motorway! But at slow sub 20mph speed, sounds like wheel going to fall of? But the car is solid... Defo rear suspension area... Frustrating as car drives mint with new upper arms, but they made no difference to this noise!

Silly suggestion but boot rubbers are tight as these sometimes knock when you hit bumps but at speed the airflow will hold the boot down

Sounds like a rear shock absorber.

I have got the EXACT same issue. Mine is on the drivers rear and deffo suspension. Like a soft thud at low speed and uneven road. I think its my shocker too so will be watching this thread very closely.
