    Default Vectra MOT Result

The garage has just contacted me to say that the Vectra has passed its MOT.... again... with no advisories... for the 3rd year running.

And that's with 6000k HID's fitted as well.

Bad enough having the potential stress of the dreaded MoT Test, but having it so soon in the new year bugs the hell out of me. Personally, I've let mine lapse for now as I can use my work van and I'll get the GSi done possibly next week I think. Never failed a test yet with the HIDs fitted, but this will be the first in a new area, with a new tester....

... and I dun wanna go out there.... s'cold

I've just been to pick it up and the guy said that there is a slight lip on the brake discs and there is very slight play in the rear trailing arms. He said that both of these were that minor that it wasn't even worth recording on the advisories.

Well that gives you a year to deal with... bushes at the back and either a skim at the front or new discs depending how much is left on them.

    Nice one

My Dad's Elite passed last week, and that has HID's fitted, 50w 4300k set.
